Game Rules Stakes There are four stakes levels available. Of course, all "money" discussed on this page is play money. Social rooms are very low stakes rooms (bets range from $1 to $100) where your stats are not saved. Every time you enter a social room, you'll be given $500 in play money chips. If you get low, you'll be given more. If you go back to the Lobby (by clicking the "Quit" button), and come back to the game, your bankroll will be reset to $500. Note that even if you win a bunch, you'll still only start with $500 the next time you play in a Social room and you don't keep the money for use in Low, Medium, or High Stakes rooms. Low Stakes rooms allow bets between $5 and $1,000. Your stats (including bankroll) are saved. The very first time you play a Low or Medium Stakes game, you'll be given $500.00 in play money chips. Any time your bankroll drops below $50 in a Low Stakes game, you'll be given more chips. Medium Stakes rooms allow bets between $25 and $5,000 and you're required to have at least $250 to even join a room. Your stats (including bankroll) are saved. The very first time you play a Low or Medium Stakes game, you'll be given $500.00 in play money chips, but in Medium Stakes rooms, you won't be given more money if you lose it. If you drop below the minimum bet, you'll have to go back to a Low Stakes game. This will happen automatically if you go back to the lobby (click the "Quit" button.) High Stakes rooms allow bets between $100 and $20,000 and you're required to have at least $1,000 to even join a room. Your stats (including bankroll) are saved. You won't be able to start out in a High Stakes room because the very first time you play, you're only given $500.00 in play money. Like Medium Stakes rooms, you won't be given more money if you lose most or all of your chips in a High Stakes room. If you drop below the minimum bet, you'll have to go back to a Low or Medium Stakes game. This will happen automatically if you go back to the lobby (click the "Quit" button.) |
